We are pleased to offer this excellent example of a fully furnished restored 3 bedroomed stone house in the magical old hill town of Motovun. The house is near the top of the hill and is walking distance to several restaurants and the spa at the hotel. It has four storeys.
The entrance from the road leads into the spacious living room, with south and west facing windows, from which there are breath taking views. To the right is the modern fully fitted kitchen with all appliances with a traditional fireplace and wood burning stove. An open stairway between them leads up to the first floor, where there is a large double bedroom with south and west facing windows, a modern shower room and a seperate WC. There is also a useful storage room with shelving for bedding and other textiles. Returning to the stairs, up on the second floor are two further spacious double bedrooms.
Outside is an attractive south facing terrace with a stone table. Access to the cellar, with a tiled floor, utility room and storage rooms is from the rear.
Motovun is an attractive hill top town, sitting above the Mirna Valley, host to the famous International Film Festival (which offers excellent rental opportunities) and has many cafe-bars, restaurants, markets, a post office and a bank. Residents parking is just below the house. The sea is 20mins away, at Novigrad, down the Mirna Valley road.
Access from the Slovenian border from the Ypsilon junction and thence the Mirna Valley road, is half an hour. The airport at Pula, during the summer, is an hour away and the Trieste airport all year round is around an hour and a half. Both are served by Ryanair and many other operators. The major centre of Porec is three quarters of an hour away.
