Motovun is an attractive hill top town, sitting above the Mirna Valley, host to the famous International Film Festival (which offers excellent rental opportunities) and has many cafe-bars, restaurants, markets, a post office and a bank. Residents parking is just below the house. The sea is 20mins away, at Novigrad, down the Mirna Valley road.

Access from the Slovenian border from the Ypsilon junction and thence the Mirna Valley road, is half an hour. The airport at Pula, during the summer, is an hour away and the Trieste airport all year round is around an hour and a half. Both are served by Ryanair and many other operators. The major centre of Porec is three quarters of an hour away.
